What is underrated Basketball?

Underrated basketball is back - and it's reimagined. Our missions remains the same: to expose underrated talent. But how we're accomplishing that will look a little different than before, with the goal of mass exposure versus a limited impact. Underrated Basketball is made up of the following:

Directors Summit - An in-person event, providing the blueprint and resources to program directors and causes before the UAA season. 

The Platform - A single digital hub for athlete evaluation that will be searchable by college programs, starting with the women's live period in April 2024

The Showcase - Top performers and their coaches from the UA Rise season will be invited to an exclusive in-person event experience. 

Is underrated basketball a circuit? 

No, we are built-on resource that provides experiences and a single hub for athlete exposure and information to get to the next level.

Because of Stephen's relationship with Under Armour, we are bringing these resources to the UA Rise Circuit first.

What is the "Platform" and is it a ranking service?

no, It is an evaluation platform to provide a holistic rating to under recruited athletes and exposes them directly to scouts, recruiters and coaches. The platform utilizes data from NCAA portal, Synergy, etc. along with in-person evaluations from Underrated Basketball scouts and combine data.

The Underrated platform brings all data around the athlete to a single home for ease of search and exposure. 

What is the Underrated showcase event?

Underrated showcase will be an invite only event to celebrate the top performing boys and girls as well as their coach. 

The event will be an all expenses paid in Charlotte the first week of August. Programming will include hands-on skill instruction, film review, and panel discussions with Stephen Curry's personal team. The event will conclude in a showcase game providing the ultimate experience for our Underrated athletes.
