UNDERRATED GOLF TOUR OVERVIEW

FORMAT & INFORMATION:

• Each event is a 36-hole stroke play event (18 holes day 1, 18 holes day 2).

• Gross scores only (no handicaps).

• 1st place playoff format: sudden death.

• Boys’ division and girls’ division compete separately.

• Field size: approx. 60 players (30 boys and 30 girls).

• All age groups are competing against each other.

• The tee box you play from is determined by age and gender.

• Golfers are junior golf age, with a minimum age of 12 and a maximum age of 18.

• The Tour will be comprised exempt players and local qualifiers (boys and girls).

• The Tour’s exempt players are prequalified to participate in the four regional

  tournaments (exempt from local qualifying).

• Each regional event will also welcome local qualifiers (boys and girls) to round out the

  field.

• Underrated is a points-based Tour, whereby the top-10 boy and top-10 girl finishers in

  each of the four regional events will be rewarded points base on their finishing position:

24 players: top 12 boy and girl point winners

TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP STARTING POSITION

• An invitation to the Tour Championship comes from being in the top 12 point earners (boy and girl) in the season long points race, or by winning a regional event.

• To begin the championship, players will begin with a staggered starting position based off their

order of merit ranking in the season long Underrated Golf Tour Points Race. The following

starting positions will be for the 36-Hole Tournament:
